What the Site Provides

This is a private reference site with no government role. It does not store official jail records, court files, booking photographs, or warrant data, and it cannot confirm custody, release anyone, post bond, or file paperwork.

Its purpose is to point visitors toward Gratiot County jail records, Michigan corrections resources, court-record paths, Michigan FOIA request routes, and third-party research tools.

Rules for Use

• Do not use the site in a way that violates law.
• Do not use information found through the site to stalk, harass, threaten, or intimidate anyone.
• Do not use site content for employment, housing, lending, insurance, or other regulated screening decisions.
• Do not try to gain unauthorized access to any site system.
• Do not use bots, scrapers, or bulk collection tools against the site.
• Do not interfere with site availability or other visitors' use.

Not a Consumer Reporting Agency

The site is not a consumer reporting agency under the Fair Credit Reporting Act and does not provide background checks, credit reports, or consumer reports. The site's partners and advertisers are not presented here as screening services. Visitors agree not to use information from the site, or from tools reached through it, for FCRA-covered purposes, including:

• Hiring, firing, promotion, or other employment decisions.
• Tenant, rental, or housing screening.
• Creditworthiness, lending, or insurance pricing.
• Licensing, permits, benefits, or government-program eligibility.
• Any other decision covered by the FCRA or similar consumer-reporting rules.

Outside Links

The site links to jail rosters, sheriff pages, court portals, Michigan corrections resources, FOIA materials, VINELink, federal locators, legal-information resources, and outside search services. Those sites are not controlled by Gratiot County Inmate Population. Their content, privacy practices, fees, accuracy, and uptime are governed by their own terms.

No Warranties

The site and its content are provided "as is." No promise is made that:

• Information will be accurate, complete, or current.
• The site will always be available without interruption.
• The site will be free of errors, bugs, or security vulnerabilities.
• Partner search results will be complete or useful for a particular purpose.

Custody status, court records, and public records can change quickly. Nothing on this site is an official statement from the Gratiot County Sheriff's Office, a Michigan court, MDOC, or any other government agency.

Limits on Liability

To the fullest extent allowed by law, Gratiot County Inmate Population is not liable for damages, losses, claims, or expenses arising from use of the site, reliance on site content, linked resources, search tools, ads, interruptions, or errors.

Indemnification

Visitors agree to hold the site and its operators harmless from claims, losses, damages, and legal fees that arise from their use of the site, misuse of information, or violation of these terms.

Intellectual Property

Text, graphics, logos, page design, and code on this site belong to Gratiot County Inmate Population or its content partners unless otherwise noted. They may not be copied, distributed, modified, republished, or reused without written permission.

These terms may be updated at any time. Revised terms take effect when posted on this page.

Access May Be Limited

Access to the site may be limited, suspended, or blocked at any time, for any reason, without prior notice.

Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Michigan. Any dispute must be filed in a court located in Michigan, unless applicable law requires a different venue.

Severability

If any part of these terms is found invalid or unenforceable, the remaining parts continue in effect. The invalid part will be adjusted only as much as needed to make it enforceable.
